FAQs

It situates Linga-centered Shaiva teaching within a protected transmission lineage (Vyāsa-paramparā), implying that correct Linga-pūjā and doctrine are safeguarded for loka-hita (the welfare of beings).

Indirectly: by emphasizing loka-hita through authoritative seers, it reflects Shaiva Siddhānta’s view of Pati (Śiva) as the compassionate Lord whose śāstra-guidance reaches paśus (souls) via realized teachers, loosening pāśa (bondage).

No specific rite is prescribed in this line; it highlights the paramparā principle—authentic Pāśupata/Śaiva practice (pūjā and yoga) must be received through a reliable lineage for the benefit of the world.
