ध्यानयोगेन रुद्रदर्शनम् — रुद्रावतार-परिवर्तक्रमः, लकुली (कायावतार), पाशुपतयोगः, लिङ्गार्चन-निष्ठा

संसारबन्धच्छेदार्थं ज्ञानमार्गप्रकाशकम् स्वरूपज्ञानसिद्ध्यर्थं योगं पाशुपतं महत्

saṃsārabandhacchedārthaṃ jñānamārgaprakāśakam svarūpajñānasiddhyarthaṃ yogaṃ pāśupataṃ mahat

Um die Fesseln des Saṃsāra (pāśa) zu durchtrennen und den Pfad befreienden Wissens zu erhellen, wird der große Pāśupata-Yoga gelehrt—damit die Erkenntnis der eigenen wahren Natur (svarūpa-jñāna) vollkommen erlangt werde.
