ब्रह्मनारायणस्तवः — शिवस्य प्रभवत्व-प्रतिपादनम्

ध्यायते जृम्भते चैव रुदते द्रवते नमः वल्गते क्रीडते चैव लम्बोदरशरीरिणे

Transliteration

dhyāyate jṛmbhate caiva rudate dravate namaḥ valgate krīḍate caiva lambodaraśarīriṇe

Translation

Verehrung dem, der einen Leib mit hängendem Bauch trägt—der meditiert, gähnt, weint und aus Mitgefühl dahinschmilzt; der springt und spielt. So wird der Herr gepriesen, dessen spielerische Freiheit alle Zustände durchzieht und doch als Pati jenseits jeder Fessel bleibt.
