Suta Goswami
By placing the seven worlds within a single divine pervasion up to Brahmā’s cosmic axis, the verse supports the Linga as the all-pervading sign (liṅga) of Pati—present in every realm where worship and dharma are established.
Shiva-tattva is implied as the supreme radiance that pervades all lokas; as Pati, He transcends yet enters the cosmos, sustaining order from the lowest to the highest limits symbolized by Brahmā’s pillar.
The verse chiefly points to contemplative ascent (inner cosmography): in Pāśupata-oriented practice, the sādhaka meditates on the Lord’s all-pervasion through the lokas, loosening pāśa (bondage) upon the paśu (soul) by fixing awareness on Pati.
