विष्णुरुवाच—एकाक्षर-प्रणव-लिङ्ग-व्याप्ति-शिवस्तोत्रम्

ऋद्धिशोकविशोकाय पिनाकाय कपर्दिने विपाशाय सुपाशाय नमस्ते पाशनाशिने

ṛddhiśokaviśokāya pinākāya kapardine vipāśāya supāśāya namaste pāśanāśine

Verehrung Dir — der du selbst Fülle und Gedeihen bist, der Kummer vertreibt und von Kummer unberührt bleibt; dem Träger des Pināka-Bogens, dem Herrn mit verfilzten Locken. Dem, der frei von Fesseln ist und dessen Schlinge glückverheißend ist — o Zerstörer des pāśa, der Bande, die den pashu (die Einzelseele) binden.
