Suta Goswami (narrating the teaching tradition within the Linga Purana)
It links Linga-oriented Śaiva practice to a specific mantra-current: the “thirty-two-syllabled” designation that yields inner contentment, spiritual nourishment, right ritual action, divine grace, and stable establishment—key aims of Linga-pūjā and pratiṣṭhā.
Śiva is implied as Pati, the bestower of prasāda (grace) that stabilizes the aspirant; the listed qualities function as signs of His śakti operating in the paśu, loosening pāśa through mantra and disciplined kriyā.
Mantra-japa and mantra-centered kriyā (Śaiva ritual discipline) culminating in pratiṣṭhā—steadfast establishment of devotion and awareness—aligned with Pāśupata-oriented transformation of the bound soul.
