Devas Praise Śiva; Gaṇeśa Manifests as Vighneśvara and Receives the Primacy of Worship
त्वाम् अनभ्यर्च्य कल्याणं श्रौतं स्मार्तं च लौकिकम् कुरुते तस्य कल्याणम् अकल्याणं भविष्यति
tvām anabhyarcya kalyāṇaṃ śrautaṃ smārtaṃ ca laukikam kurute tasya kalyāṇam akalyāṇaṃ bhaviṣyati
Ohne dich zuvor zu verehren, o glückverheißender Herr, wird für den, der irgendeine heilsame Handlung unternimmt—sei sie vedisch (śrauta), überlieferungsgebunden (smārta) oder weltlich (laukika)—selbst das vermeintlich „Gute“ unheilvoll, weil es von der Gnade des Pati (Śiva), des Spenders aller Glückverheißung, getrennt ist.
