Cosmic Manifestation, Mahāmāyā’s Mandate, Varṇāśrama-Dharma, and the Unity of the Trimūrti

वर्णाश्रमप्रयुक्तेन धर्मेण प्रीतिसंयुतः / पूजयेद् भावयुक्तेन यावज्जीवं प्रतिज्ञया

varṇāśramaprayuktena dharmeṇa prītisaṃyutaḥ / pūjayed bhāvayuktena yāvajjīvaṃ pratijñayā

Von liebender Hingabe erfüllt, soll man (den Herrn) durch die Pflichten des Dharma verehren, die der eigenen Varṇa und Āśrama entsprechen, mit aufrichtig bewegtem Herzen—und das Gelübde ein Leben lang bewahren.
