Mukti-tattva Upadeśa: Knowledge as the Direct Cause of Liberation

तत्कर्म यन्न बन्धाय सा विद्या या विमुक्तिदा / आयासायापरं कर्म विद्यान्या शिल्पनैपुणम्

tatkarma yanna bandhāya sā vidyā yā vimuktidā / āyāsāyāparaṃ karma vidyānyā śilpanaipuṇam

Nur jenes Handeln ist wahrhaftes Karma, das nicht zur Ursache von Bindung wird; nur jenes Wissen ist wahre Vidyā, das Befreiung schenkt. Alles andere Tun führt nur zu Mühsal, und alles andere „Wissen“ ist bloß Geschick in Handwerk und Technik.
