FAQs

This verse uses “talas” to indicate a lower, hidden state or nether realm, highlighting how beings may withdraw or become obscured when confronted by powerful spiritual presences such as assembled sages.

While not directly describing the post-death route, it reflects a Garuda Purana theme: subtle states and realms (including lower regions) are real experiential domains, and spiritual forces (like munis) can influence one’s visibility, movement, or inner state.

Maintain reverence and inner steadiness in holy company; the verse implies that strong spiritual environments reveal one’s inner condition, encouraging humility, self-restraint, and dharmic conduct.
