श्रीभगवानुवाच / श्रुतेः प्रत्यक्षतस्तार्क्ष्य प्रामाण्यं बलवत्तरम् / श्रुत्या तुः बोधितार्थस्य पीयूषत्वादिरूपता

śrībhagavānuvāca / śruteḥ pratyakṣatastārkṣya prāmāṇyaṃ balavattaram / śrutyā tuḥ bodhitārthasya pīyūṣatvādirūpatā

Der erhabene Herr sprach: O Tārkṣya (Garuda), die Autorität der Śruti (der offenbarten Schrift) ist stärker sogar als unmittelbare Wahrnehmung. Denn was durch die Śruti kundgetan wird, nimmt die Natur von Nektar an—höchst heilsam und lebensspendend.
