Transliteration

etasmādeva pakṣīśa karma yatsamudāhṛtam puṣkarākhyānamatulaṃ śṛṇoti śraddhayānvitaḥ / hariprītikare dharme prītiyukto bhavetsadā

Translation

Darum, o Herr der Vögel (Garuḍa): Wer mit Glauben diese unvergleichliche Erzählung namens «Puṣkara» vernimmt, zusammen mit den verkündeten Riten (karma), der wird stets in Freude und Hingabe in jener Dharma verweilen, die Hari (Viṣṇu) wohlgefällt.
