Sense-Discipline and Exclusive Refuge in Viṣṇu
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच / विज्ञाय जांबवत्याश्च तदन्येषां खगाधिप / उत्तमानां च साम्यं तु उत्तमावेशतो भवेत्
śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca / vijñāya jāṃbavatyāśca tadanyeṣāṃ khagādhipa / uttamānāṃ ca sāmyaṃ tu uttamāveśato bhavet
Śrī Kṛṣṇa sprach: „O Herr der Vögel, nachdem du (den Zustand) Jāmbavatīs und der anderen ebenfalls erkannt hast, wisse: Gleichheit unter den Vorzüglichen entsteht daraus, dass sie von der höchsten (göttlichen) Gegenwart durchdrungen sind.“

This verse states that true sameness among the spiritually excellent is not social but metaphysical—arising when the Highest Reality pervades or fully “enters” one’s being, dissolving comparative distinctions.
By pointing to “sāmya” (equality) as an effect of the Highest’s presence, the verse implies that exalted states converge when the same supreme divine principle becomes the inner basis of all.
