FAQs

This verse calls Raudra Tīrtha “supremely purifying,” presenting it as a highly meritorious sacred spot connected with Śrīnivāsa and sanctified by Rudra’s continual presence and worship.

Indirectly, it emphasizes tīrtha and pūjā as purifying supports for dharma—practices the Garuḍa Purāṇa often links with cleansing demerit and improving one’s post-death course through righteous merit.

Maintain regular worship (nitya-pūjā) and, when possible, visit sacred sites with disciplined conduct—treating pilgrimage as a means of inner purification rather than mere travel.
