ये वेष्णवा वैष्णवदासवर्याः स्नानं सुर्युस्तत्र पूर्वं सुकन्ये / मध्वान्तस्थाः श्रीनिवासस्तु नित्यमत्र स्नानात्प्रीयतां मे दयालुः
ye veṣṇavā vaiṣṇavadāsavaryāḥ snānaṃ suryustatra pūrvaṃ sukanye / madhvāntasthāḥ śrīnivāsastu nityamatra snānātprīyatāṃ me dayāluḥ
O tugendhafte Jungfrau! Jene Gottgeweihten—die Vorzüglichsten unter den Dienern der Vaiṣṇavas—baden dort zuerst beim Sonnenaufgang. In jener heiligen Gegend weilt Śrīnivāsa (Viṣṇu) ewig; möge der barmherzige Herr durch dieses Bad an mir Gefallen finden.

This verse presents sunrise bathing at a sacred spot as the proper first act of disciplined devotees, performed to gain purity and to please Śrīnivāsa (Viṣṇu).
It states that Viṣṇu (Śrīnivāsa) abides eternally in that holy region, so bathing there is framed not merely as hygiene but as a bhakti-act meant to invoke the Lord’s pleasure and grace.
Approach rituals with intention: bathe or begin the day at sunrise with remembrance of Viṣṇu, and treat any pilgrimage/temple visit as an act of service and inner purification, not just outward custom.
