अतो हि माता हरिरेव सर्वदा त्वन्यासां वै मातृता चोपचारात् / निर्मातृत्वं यदि मुख्यं त्वयि स्याद्द्रोणादीनां जननी का वदस्व

ato hi mātā harireva sarvadā tvanyāsāṃ vai mātṛtā copacārāt / nirmātṛtvaṃ yadi mukhyaṃ tvayi syāddroṇādīnāṃ jananī kā vadasva

Darum ist allein Hari immerdar die wahre Mutter; die „Mutterschaft“ anderer Frauen ist nur bildlich und aus Konvention so genannt. Wenn das eigentliche Hervorbringen das höchste Kriterium in dir wäre, so sage mir: Wer wäre dann die Mutter Droṇas und der übrigen?
