On the Causes/Means of Knowledge

तस्मात्कलिसमो लोके शिवभक्तो न कुत्रचित् / दुर्योधनः स एवोक्तो दुः खानन्त्यस्वरूपवान्

tasmātkalisamo loke śivabhakto na kutracit / duryodhanaḥ sa evokto duḥ khānantyasvarūpavān

Daher gibt es in dieser Welt nirgends einen Verehrer Śivas, der Kali an Bosheit gleichkäme. Duryodhana, so heißt es, ist eben jener—die Verkörperung einer endlosen Natur des Leidens.
