Translation

Inmitten des Geheuls von Hunden, Schakalen, Eseln und Eulen, dazu das Wehklagen der von Pfeilen Getroffenen; nahe bei unreinen Leichnamen, bei Śūdras und Ausgestoßenen, am Verbrennungsplatz (śmaśāna) und bei im Sündenfall Befleckten—soll man keine heiligen Riten vollziehen.
