Transliteration

prāvṛṭkāle tu ye martyā nārciṣyanti pavitrakaiḥ / teṣāṃ sāṃvatsarī pūjā viphalā ca bhaviṣyati

Translation

Doch jene Sterblichen, die in der Regenzeit nicht mit Pavitrakas (geweihten Ringen/Girlanden aus Darbha-Gras) verehren, deren jährliche Verehrung wird gewiss fruchtlos werden.
