इत्युक्तो गरुडो रुद्र ! कश्यपायाह पृच्छते / कश्यपो गारुडं श्रुत्वा वृक्षं दग्धमजीवयत्

ityukto garuḍo rudra ! kaśyapāyāha pṛcchate / kaśyapo gāruḍaṃ śrutvā vṛkṣaṃ dagdhamajīvayat

So angesprochen, sagte Garuḍa: „O Rudra!“, und befragte dann Kaśyapa. Kaśyapa, nachdem er die Garuḍa-Lehre/das Mantra vernommen hatte, erweckte einen verbrannten Baum wieder zum Leben.
