FAQs

This verse functions as a materia-medica style enumeration, preserving traditional ingredient names used in classical formulations and guiding correct identification of substances.

Alongside teachings on dharma and post-death rites, the text also transmits practical knowledge such as health and remedies; this verse is part of that instructional, catalog-like section.

Use it as a reference for accurate Sanskrit-to-botanical identification when studying traditional formulations, and consult qualified practitioners before applying any medicinal preparation.
