FAQs

This verse treats udvartana as a direct, practical remedy: mere application/rubbing is said to remove “sarva-rāga,” i.e., bodily discoloration or morbid staining, highlighting the text’s applied therapeutic guidance.

It does not address afterlife doctrine here; instead, it presents a health-focused instruction, showing that the Garuda Purana also contains practical teachings alongside spiritual and post-death narratives.

It underscores disciplined, time-bound practice (e.g., consistent anjana use “within a month”) and careful use of pure ingredients—principles that can be applied today by seeking safe, traditionally-informed, and medically appropriate guidance.
