Nachdem man das Pulver der Substanz chucchundarī verbrannt hat, soll man es als Salbe Rudras auftragen. Wird es richtig aufgetragen, wird der Leidende, als wäre er verbrannt, sogleich erleichtert. Mit Sandelholz, so heißt es, erlangt man Moksha (Befreiung); durch Trinken und Salben wird man wohlig und froh.
