Vāta-vyādhi Nidāna and Lakṣaṇa: Obstruction, Dhātu-Seating, and Major Neuromuscular Entities

FAQs

This verse warns that aggravated vāyu can deplete dhātus (tissues), so restraint and replenishing the body’s channels is essential for stability of body and prāṇa.

Indirectly: maintaining balanced vāyu and unobstructed channels supports prāṇa and clarity, which the Purāṇic tradition links to steadiness of mind and subtle-body functioning.

Avoid habits that aggravate vāta (excess fasting, overexertion, irregular routine) and adopt nourishing, grounding practices that support healthy bodily channels.
