FAQs

This verse contributes to a lineage chain, preserving Purāṇic memory of succession and dharmic heritage through named ancestors and descendants.

It does not directly describe the soul’s post-death journey; instead, it functions as a genealogical record within the narrative framework of Vishnu’s instruction to Garuda.

It encourages respect for ancestral continuity—supporting practices like honoring forebears, maintaining family duties, and valuing dharmic conduct across generations.
