तेन दावानलज्वालादीप्तेन मथितं बलम् / तृतीये युद्धदिवसे याममात्रं गते रवौ / विशुक्रमुक्ततर्षास्त्रव्याकुलाः शक्तयो ऽवन्

tena dāvānalajvālādīptena mathitaṃ balam / tṛtīye yuddhadivase yāmamātraṃ gate ravau / viśukramuktatarṣāstravyākulāḥ śaktayo 'van

Durch jene Waffe, die wie die Flammen eines Waldbrandes loderte, wurde das Heer erschüttert und zermalmt. Am dritten Tag des Krieges, als die Sonne erst eine Yāma vorangeschritten war, gerieten die Scharen der Śakti durch Viśukras Tṛṣāstra in schwere Verwirrung.
