कल्पायुषां स्थानजयात्पुनर्भवात् क्षणायुषां भारतभूजयो वरम् । क्षणेन मर्त्येन कृतं मनस्विन: सन्न्यस्य संयान्त्यभयं पदं हरे: ॥ २३ ॥

kalpāyuṣāṁ sthānajayāt punar-bhavāt kṣaṇāyuṣāṁ bhārata-bhūjayo varam kṣaṇena martyena kṛtaṁ manasvinaḥ sannyasya saṁyānty abhayaṁ padaṁ hareḥ

Ein kurzes Leben im Land Bhārata ist besser als der Sieg und Aufenthalt in Brahmaloka über Kalpas hinweg, denn selbst in Brahmaloka gibt es die Rückkehr zu neuer Geburt. In Bhārata kann der entschlossene Sterbliche sogar in kurzer Zeit alles aufgeben und sich den Lotosfüßen Haris völlig ergeben, um die furchtlose Stätte—Vaikuṇṭha—zu erreichen, wo es weder Sorge noch erneute Geburt in einem materiellen Körper gibt.
