Nābhāga’s Inheritance, Śiva’s Verdict, and the Rise of Ambarīṣa—Prelude to Durvāsā’s Offense
तमन्वधावद् भगवद्रथाङ्गं दावाग्निरुद्धूतशिखो यथाहिम् । तथानुषक्तं मुनिरीक्षमाणो गुहां विविक्षु: प्रससार मेरो: ॥ ५० ॥
tam anvadhāvad bhagavad-rathāṅgaṁ dāvāgnir uddhūta-śikho yathāhim tathānuṣaktaṁ munir īkṣamāṇo guhāṁ vivikṣuḥ prasasāra meroḥ
Wie die lodernden Flammen eines Waldbrandes eine Schlange verfolgen, so jagte das rathāṅga des Herrn—das Sudarśana-Cakra—Durvāsā Muni nach. Als er sah, dass es fast seinen Rücken berührte, rannte er in größter Eile, um in eine Höhle des Berges Sumeru zu gelangen.
