Transliteration

guruṇā hūyamāne ’gnau balabhit tanayān rajeḥ avadhīd bhraṁśitān mārgān na kaścid avaśeṣitaḥ

Translation

Daraufhin brachte Bṛhaspati, der geistige Lehrer der Devas, Opfergaben ins Feuer, damit die Söhne Rajīs vom Pfad des Dharma abfielen. Als sie gefallen waren, tötete Indra, der Bezwinger Bālas, sie mühelos; keiner blieb am Leben.
