अहो जाये तिष्ठ तिष्ठ घोरे न त्यक्तुमर्हसि । मां त्वमद्याप्यनिर्वृत्य वचांसि कृणवावहै ॥ ३४ ॥
aho jāye tiṣṭha tiṣṭha ghore na tyaktum arhasi māṁ tvam adyāpy anirvṛtya vacāṁsi kṛṇavāvahai
Ach, meine Gattin, bleib, bleib! O Grausame, es ziemt dir nicht, mich zu verlassen. Ich weiß, dass ich dich bis heute nicht glücklich gemacht habe; doch darum steht es dir nicht an, mich aufzugeben. Selbst wenn du beschlossen hast, meine Gemeinschaft zu meiden, lass uns doch noch eine Weile sprechen.
