The Lord says in Bhagavad-gītā (4.9) :
This verse states that even those who merely saw, touched, accompanied, or followed Lord Rāmacandra attained the supreme abode reached by perfected yogīs—showing the liberating power of the Lord’s mercy and divine association.
To highlight that bhakti and the Lord’s grace can grant the highest perfection effortlessly, surpassing the difficult path of yogic practice—especially for those who lived in loving proximity to Lord Rāma.
Seek steady sādhusanga and “association” with the Lord through nāma-japa, śravaṇa of Rāma-kathā, darśana, and service—because sincere connection with Bhagavān is itself purifying and liberating.
