इन्द्रप्रस्थं गत: कृष्ण आहूतो धर्मसूनुना । राजसूयेऽथ निवृत्ते शिशुपाले च संस्थिते ॥ ६ ॥ कुरुवृद्धाननुज्ञाप्य मुनींश्च ससुतां पृथाम् । निमित्तान्यतिघोराणि पश्यन् द्वारवतीं ययौ ॥ ७ ॥

Auf Einladung Yudhiṣṭhiras, des Sohnes Dharmas, war der Herr Kṛṣṇa nach Indraprastha gegangen. He went because King Yudhiṣṭhira invited Him for the Rājasūya sacrifice, and this verse notes Kṛṣṇa’s return to that setting after the sacrifice concluded and Śiśupāla was slain.
Śiśupāla’s death marks the completion of a major dharmic event (the Rājasūya) and illustrates how the Lord’s actions conclude adharma while granting destiny-fulfilling results within His līlā.
