Pūtanā-mokṣa — The Witch Pūtanā’s Attempt and Kṛṣṇa’s Deliverance
ते तत्र वर्णितं गोपै: पूतनागमनादिकम् । श्रुत्वा तन्निधनं स्वस्ति शिशोश्चासन् सुविस्मिता: ॥ ४२ ॥
te tatra varṇitaṁ gopaiḥ pūtanāgamanādikam śrutvā tan-nidhanaṁ svasti śiśoś cāsan suvismitāḥ
Die aus der Ferne herbeigekommenen Bewohner Vrajas hörten von den Gopas die ganze Begebenheit: Pūtanās Kommen und alles Weitere. Als sie vernahmen, dass das Kind Kṛṣṇa sie getötet hatte und der Säugling wohlbehalten war, waren sie zutiefst erstaunt und segneten das Kind.
