The Slaying of Narakāsura (Bhaumāsura), Rescue of the Princesses, and the Pārijāta Episode Begins
गत्वा सुरेन्द्रभवनं दत्त्वादित्यै च कुण्डले । पूजितस्त्रिदशेन्द्रेण महेन्द्रयाण्या च सप्रिय: ॥ ३८ ॥ चोदितो भार्ययोत्पाट्य पारिजातं गरुत्मति । आरोप्य सेन्द्रान् विबुधान् निर्जित्योपानयत्पुरम् ॥ ३९ ॥
gatvā surendra-bhavanaṁ dattvādityai ca kuṇḍale pūjitas tridaśendreṇa mahendryāṇyā ca sa-priyaḥ
Dann begab sich der Herr Acyuta in die Wohnstatt Indras, des Königs der Halbgötter, und gab Mutter Aditi ihre Ohrringe zurück; dort verehrten Indra und seine Gemahlin Kṛṣṇa zusammen mit seiner geliebten Satyabhāmā.
He went to Surendra’s palace to return Aditi’s divine earrings and to conclude the heavenly episode connected with Narakāsura’s stolen treasures.
It shows that even the king of the gods recognizes Krishna’s supreme position and honors Him as the benefactor who protects dharma and restores what was stolen.
Even highly placed leaders should honor virtue, express gratitude, and remain humble before the Supreme and His righteous actions.
