Kṛṣṇa Leads Kālayavana to Mucukunda; The Yavana Is Burned; Mucukunda’s Prayers and Boon of Bhakti
एवं क्षिप्तोऽपि भगवान्प्राविशद् गिरिकन्दरम् । सोऽपि प्रविष्टस्तत्रान्यं शयानं ददृशे नरम् ॥ ९ ॥
evaṁ kṣipto ’pi bhagavān prāviśad giri-kandaram so ’pi praviṣṭas tatrānyaṁ śayānaṁ dadṛśe naram
Obwohl Er so beschimpft wurde, betrat der Herr die Berghöhle. Auch Kālayavana ging hinein und sah dort einen anderen Mann liegen, der schlief.
The Lord exhibits here His opulence of renunciation. Determined to execute His plan and give His blessings to Mucukunda, the Lord ignored Kālayavana’s insults and calmly proceeded with His program.
Kṛṣṇa leads Kālayavana into a mountain cave, where Kālayavana sees a sleeping man (King Mucukunda), setting the stage for Kālayavana’s destruction by divine arrangement.
Kṛṣṇa deliberately drew Kālayavana into the cave to fulfill a higher plan—using the presence of Mucukunda to end the demon’s threat while protecting His own people.
Not every challenge is met head-on; with faith and discernment, one can respond intelligently, rely on divine arrangement, and avoid acting from ego or impulse.
