Nanda Mahārāja Celebrates Kṛṣṇa’s Birth; Vasudeva Warns of Danger
ता आशिष: प्रयुञ्जानाश्चिरं पाहीति बालके । हरिद्राचूर्णतैलाद्भि: सिञ्चन्त्योऽजनमुज्जगु: ॥ १२ ॥
tā āśiṣaḥ prayuñjānāś ciraṁ pāhīti bālake haridrā-cūrṇa-tailādbhiḥ siñcantyo ’janam ujjaguḥ
Den Neugeborenen segnend, sprachen sie: „O Kind, beschütze lange Zeit; sei der König von Vraja und erhalte alle Bewohner.“ Dann besprengten sie den Herrn Hari, den ungeborenen Höchsten, mit einer Mischung aus Kurkumapulver, Öl und Wasser und brachten ihre Gebete dar.
