valgataḥ śatrum abhitaḥ kṛṣṇasya vadanāmbujam vīkṣyatāṁ śrama-vāry-uptaṁ padma-kośam ivāmbubhiḥ

Schaut auf das lotusgleiche Antlitz Śrī Kṛṣṇas, wie Er flink um seinen Gegner herumfährt! Von Schweißtropfen des harten Kampfes benetzt, gleicht es einer Lotusknospe, die vom Tau bedeckt ist.
