Trivakrā’s Transformation and the Breaking of Kaṁsa’s Bow

Mathurā-līlā Prelude

तेषु पौरा जानपदा ब्रह्मक्षत्रपुरोगमा: । यथोपजोषं विविशू राजानश्च कृतासना: ॥ ३४ ॥

teṣu paurā jānapadā brahma-kṣatra-purogamāḥ yathopajoṣaṁ viviśū rājānaś ca kṛtāsanāḥ

Dorthin kamen die Stadtbewohner und die Menschen aus den Landbezirken, angeführt von Brāhmaṇas und Kṣatriyas, und setzten sich nach Belieben bequem nieder; für die königlichen Gäste waren Ehrenplätze bereitet.
