Kṛṣṇa Enters Mathurā: City Splendor, Devotees’ Reception, and the Washerman’s Fate
मार्गे ग्रामजना राजंस्तत्र तत्रोपसङ्गता: । वसुदेवसुतौ वीक्ष्य प्रीता दृष्टिं न चाददु: ॥ ७ ॥
mārge grāma-janā rājaṁs tatra tatropasaṅgatāḥ vasudeva-sutau vīkṣya prītā dṛṣṭiṁ na cādaduḥ
O König, überall unterwegs traten die Dorfbewohner heran und wurden, als sie die beiden Söhne Vasudevas sahen, von großer Freude erfüllt. Ja, sie konnten den Blick nicht von Ihnen lösen.
