Transliteration

dadhy-akṣataiḥ soda-pātraiḥ srag-gandhair abhyupāyanaiḥ tāv ānarcuḥ pramuditās tatra tatra dvijātayaḥ

Translation

Die entlang des Weges stehenden Brahmanen ehrten die beiden Herren voller Freude mit Joghurt, ungebrochenen Körnern, wassergefüllten Gefäßen, Girlanden, Duftstoffen wie Sandelholzpaste und weiteren Opfergaben.
