Akrūra’s Prayers (Akrūra-stuti): The Lord as Cause of Causes, Virāṭ, and the Goal of All Paths
त्वय्यव्ययात्मन् पुरुषे प्रकल्पिता लोका: सपाला बहुजीवसङ्कुला: । यथा जले सञ्जिहते जलौकसो- ऽप्युदुम्बरे वा मशका मनोमये ॥ १५ ॥
tvayy avyayātman puruṣe prakalpitā lokāḥ sa-pālā bahu-jīva-saṅkulāḥ yathā jale sañjihate jalaukaso ’py udumbare vā maśakā mano-maye
O unerschöpflicher Ātman, o Puruṣa! Alle Welten samt ihren regierenden Devas und den wimmelnden Scharen von Wesen sind in Dir angeordnet und entstehen in Dir. In Dir—der Grundlage von Geist und Sinnen—bewegen sie sich wie Wasserwesen im Ozean oder wie winzige Insekten, die sich in der Udumbara-Frucht verbergen.
