श्रुत्वाच्युतमुपायातं नित्यं तद्दर्शनोत्सुका: । तत्कथाक्षिप्तमनसो बभूवुर्जातसम्भ्रमा: ॥ १८ ॥

Transliteration

śrutvācyutam upāyātaṁ nityaṁ tad-darśanotsukāḥ tat-kathākṣipta-manaso babhūvur jāta-sambhramāḥ

Translation

Die Frauen der Brāhmaṇas waren stets begierig, Kṛṣṇa zu sehen, denn ihr Geist war von Erzählungen über Ihn bezaubert. Als sie hörten, dass Acyuta gekommen sei, gerieten sie sofort in freudige Erregung.
