Kāliya-damana: Kṛṣṇa Subdues the Serpent and Purifies the Yamunā

भूतमात्रेन्द्रियप्राणमनोबुद्ध्याशयात्मने । त्रिगुणेनाभिमानेन गूढस्वात्मानुभूतये ॥ ४२ ॥ नमोऽनन्ताय सूक्ष्माय कूटस्थाय विपश्चिते । नानावादानुरोधाय वाच्यवाचकशक्तये ॥ ४३ ॥

Transliteration

bhūta-mātrendriya-prāṇa- mano-buddhy-āśayātmane tri-guṇenābhimānena gūḍha-svātmānubhūtaye

Translation

O Herr, Dir sei Ehrerbietung: Du bist die höchste Seele der Elemente, der Tanmātras, der Sinne, des Prāṇa sowie von Geist, Intelligenz und Bewusstsein. Durch Deine Fügung identifizieren sich die winzigen Seelen fälschlich mit den drei Guṇas, wodurch die Erkenntnis des wahren Selbst verhüllt wird. Wir bringen Dir Verehrung dar — dem Unendlichen, dem höchst Feinen, dem Allwissenden, im unveränderlichen Transzendenten fest gegründet, der die verschiedenen Lehrmeinungen zulässt und die Kraft ist, die Bedeutung und die sie ausdrückenden Worte trägt.
