Transliteration

te pālayantaḥ samayam asurāḥ sva-kṛtaṁ nṛpa tūṣṇīm āsan kṛta-snehāḥ strī-vivāda-jugupsayā

Translation

O König, da die Asuras versprochen hatten, alles anzunehmen, was jene Frau tue, ob gerecht oder ungerecht, blieben sie, um ihr Wort zu halten und aus Abscheu vor einem Streit mit einer Frau, schweigend.
