ततश्चाप्सरसो जाता निष्ककण्ठ्य: सुवासस: । रमण्य: स्वर्गिणां वल्गुगतिलीलावलोकनै: ॥ ७ ॥

tataś cāpsaraso jātā niṣka-kaṇṭhyaḥ suvāsasaḥ ramaṇyaḥ svargiṇāṁ valgu- gati-līlāvalokanaiḥ

Als Nächstes erschienen die Apsarās. Sie waren mit goldenen Schmuckstücken und Halsketten geschmückt und trugen feine, anziehende Gewänder. Ihr langsamer, betörender Gang und ihre spielerischen Blicke verwirrten die Bewohner der Himmel.
