उपर्यधश्चात्मनि गोत्रनेत्रयो: परेण ते प्राविशता समेधिता: । ममन्थुरब्धिं तरसा मदोत्कटा महाद्रिणा क्षोभितनक्रचक्रम् ॥ १३ ॥

Transliteration

upary adhaś cātmani gotra-netrayoḥ pareṇa te prāviśatā samedhitāḥ mamanthur abdhiṁ tarasā madotkaṭā mahādriṇā kṣobhita-nakra-cakram

Translation

Angespornt vom Herrn, der über und unter dem Berg war und in Devas, Asuras, Vāsuki und sogar in den Berg selbst eingegangen war, arbeiteten Devas und Asuras fast wie berauscht nach dem Nektar und quirrlten mit dem großen Berg das Milchozean mit gewaltiger Kraft. Das Meer wurde so aufgewühlt, dass die Krokodile in Unruhe gerieten, doch das Quirlen ging weiter.
