Aditi’s Payo-vrata and Viṣṇu’s Promise to Appear as Her Son
Prelude to Vāmana
It instructs Aditi to quickly approach her husband, the sinless Prajāpati Kaśyapa, and convey the Lord’s presence ‘as He stands in that very form.’
Within the narrative of Aditi’s desire for protection of the devas, she is directed to consult and inform Kaśyapa, the family patriarch and Prajāpati, so the divine plan for the Lord’s appearance may proceed properly through dharmic order.
It highlights acting promptly on sound guidance and keeping one’s mind aligned with dharma—seeking counsel from qualified, principled authorities when undertaking sacred or important aims.
