FAQs

In this verse, Lord Vishnu tells Aditi that worship of Him never becomes fruitless; the outcome manifests in accordance with the devotee’s faith (śraddhā).

Aditi had undertaken disciplined vows to please the Lord for the welfare of the devas; Vishnu, satisfied by her vrata, assures her that her devotion will bear results and that He will consider a way to help.

Consistent spiritual discipline (vows, regulated practice) combined with sincere faith makes devotion steady; results may differ, but sincere worship is never wasted and gradually transforms one’s heart.
