Manvantara Administration: Appointment of Manus, Indras, and the Restoration of Dharma
Dharma, or occupational duty, can be established in its full four parts as explained in Bhagavad-gītā. In Bhagavad-gītā (4.1) the Lord says:
This verse states that dharma in its complete, fourfold form is established and propagated on earth by the Manus, who act under the instruction of Lord Hari.
In describing universal administration, Shukadeva explains that earthly order and righteousness are maintained in each Manvantara through the Manu of that period, guided by Vishnu.
It encourages aligning personal and social duties with divine guidance—supporting truthful, disciplined, and responsible living rather than treating ethics as merely human-made convenience.
