The Future Manus and the Avatāras in Their Manvantaras
The Pavitrās are the group of demigods who appear in that manvantara and are described as descendants connected with Cākṣuṣa Manu.
This verse states that Śuci will take the post of Indra (the ruler of Svarga) during that period, indicating the changing of cosmic administrators across manvantaras.
It highlights impermanence: even the highest worldly posts change with time, encouraging one to seek lasting refuge in devotion to Bhagavān rather than temporary status.
